Michigan Congolese Community

The Michigan Congolese Community, Inc. is a Michigan nonprofit corporation that facilitates cross-cultural exchange between the United States and the Democratic Republic of Congo. We provide a plethora of services, ranging from cultural sensitivity training for corporations, and Congo-ready tourism consulting to American attractions and destinations, and cultural activities to promote Congo culture in Michigan state.

Our purpose is to serve the needs, promote the interests, and enhance the well-being of low-income, diverse immigrant and refugee communities across Michigan State through social services, advocacy, educational programming, and assistance for youth, adults, the elderly, and small businesses.

Mission Statement

The Michigan Congolese Community (MCC) is a community-based organization targeting the low-income immigrant and refugee communities of Michigan. Through Adult Education, Workforce Development, Youth Development, Social Services, and Michigan’s Small Business Development Center, MCC has assisted generations of immigrants to grow roots as they integrate themselves into Michigan state.
